Main Garden
Once the site of Paultons House, which no longer remains, the surrounding gardens were originally laid out by Capability Brown. The magnificent Cedar trees are over 160 years old and many of the pathways were discovered during restoration. |

Rockery
Parts of the old cellars of the original house have been retained and this sheltered spot is a favourite place to picnic. |
Spring Garden
It's here that the snowdrops and drifts of golden yellow daffodils herald the first signs of Spring! |

 |
Rhododendrons & Azaleas
This wonderful pageant of colour can be seen in the main gardens and is at its most spectacular in late Spring. |
Grass Garden
An enclosed garden displaying a variety of
grasses that give this location an air of
mystery as they whisper and rustle in the
breeze. |

Trekking Tractor Garden
A unique farm garden created in the middle of a ride where Basil the Scarecrow stands guard over the carefully tended vegetable plot! |
Japanese Garden
Created in 1989, each entrance has a “torii”, a traditional wooden gateway. Planted with maple, bamboo and box hedge, a small stream runs down to the lily pond through two aviaries of delicate tropical birds. |

Tropical Plants
Amongst our collection of tropical plants is the Wollemi Pine which was thought to be extinct until discovered in Australia in 1994. |
John's Garden
Situated adjacent to the entrance, this recently created garden has been designed as a tribute to the founder of Paultons Park. |

Lake & Weir
The horseshoe-shaped lake is fed by a tributary of the River Test. This
tranquil area is frequented by an amazing variety of wild life. |
Donoughmore Cross
Situated on the far side of the lake this secluded monument marks the site of what was once a pets' cemetary. |
