THE COBRA SET TO STRIKE AT PAULTONS
PARK TO OPEN WORLD CLASS ROLLER COASTER
Paultons is just about to open its largest and most exciting family ride ever. Opening on Saturday 18th March The Cobra will be set to thrill adults and children of all ages. Standing an impressive 17 metres high at its tallest point and having a track length of 450 metres The Cobra joins the Stinger and Flying Frog to become the largest of the Park’s three Coasters.
Unique to the UK, the Cobra features thrilling drops, sharp turns and exhilarating twists as riders are taken on a breathtaking journey reaching speeds of over 47km/ph and pulling 3 G’s at certain points of the ride.
“We have spent the last 5 years researching and meticulously planning this project to ensure it was absolutely right for our audience and so are thrilled to be finally opening such a fantastic new ride. I am confident it will be an immediate hit with all of our visitors and The Cobra will no doubt become our ‘signature’ attraction. It is important to realise that it is still very much a family ride, but certainly one with a bite!” said Paultons’ Managing Director, Richard Mancey.
The multi-million pound investment has also included the development of a new toilet block, catering and retail outlets, landscaping and covered patio areas.
The Cobra joins over 50 other family rides and attractions at Paultons which are included in the entrance price. The Park will be open daily at 10am from Friday 17th March.
