New Magic Carpet Ride opens at Paultons!

The latest thrill at Paultons Park, the new Magic Carpet ride, opened this weekend. The Magic Carpet is the second new ride to open at the Park this year following the launch of the spinning raft ride, Kontiki, at the start of the season.

“The continual development of the park ensures that there is something new every season for our visitors, many of whom will visit several times over the course of the year. It’s fantastic that we have been able to add two new rides this season along with our new show stage meaning that we can offer visitors more fun and even better value than ever” said Steve Lorton, Commercial Director. Steve continues, “We have tried to introduce new experiences with both the Magic Carpet and Kontiki rides which have unusual motions and are very different to the existing rides at the Park”.

The Magic Carpet is a family ride which takes visitors on a magical flight rising to 7.5metres before swooping to the floor time and time again. The ride can be enjoyed by adults and small children with a minimum height to ride requirement of just 900mm.

Paultons Park now has over 50 rides and attractions included within the admission price with two museums and an amazing exotic bird collection all set within 140 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Paultons is located in the New Forest National Park, junction 2 M27 and is open from 10am daily. Further information is available for www.paultonspark.co.uk.
