NEW KONTIKI RIDE WILL LEAVE YOU IN A SPIN!
Paultons Park opens this Saturday for
the 2005 season with two exciting new
attractions, and there’s
more on the way!
Kontiki is a new ride
where visitors will be able to experience
the thrill of riding a raft on the high
seas without leaving dry land. The
Kontiki has a unique motion that swings the boat from side to side
whilst
spinning on its axis!
“
The Kontiki ride is unlike any other
ride at Paultons and will certainly give
our visitors a new sensation. We are looking forward to seeing the
reaction of families when they
first sail on the Kontiki” said Commercial Director, Steve
Lorton.
Also new for 2005 is the Showtime
Stage. A purpose built entertainment
area which will be home to Scotty the Clown and
a brand new live show – Percy’s
Pirate Adventure. Shows will take place
daily throughout the summer and
will feature the considerable talents
of Scotty and, for the first time, Percy
the Owl! The audience will also play a role in each
performance being encouraged to learn
the actions and sing the songs!
Opening Summer 2005 is the new Magic
Carpet ride – a thrilling family ride where visitors will
be flown high and low aboard a swirling
enchanted carpet. “We
are adding a taste of the Mystic East
with the Magic Carpet”,
says Steve Lorton “the ride, and its theming, will conjure
up images of Aladdin and the Orient and
should prove a popular destination with
our visitors!”
Paultons
Park now has over 50 rides and attractions
including firm favourites such as the Stinger rollercoaster, Wave
Runner ‘water-coaster’ and
the thrilling Jumping Bean drop ride.
Plus there’s an amazing
exotic bird collection (including Humboldt
Penguins), two fascinating museums, a delightful
10-acre lake, a hedge maze, 140 acres
of beautiful landscaped gardens and even
Dinosaurs all of which are included in the entrance pricePaultons
