Percy’s new Playhouse
Y oungsters
visiting Paultons Park over the summer holidays are in for an additional
treat with the opening
of Percy’s Playhouse. Located in ‘Kids Kingdom’,
Percy’s Playhouse stands an impressive 10 metres high and
has two giant tube slides that twist
and snake their way to the ground. Remarkably, the entire project
has been completed in just
four weeks at a cost of £55,000.
Percy’s Playhouse
joins the Jumping Bean, Jumping Jack
and the Penguin Pool as the fourth new attraction to open at the
Park
this year and is sure to be a big hit
with younger visitors. “Although
everyone enjoys the fantastic rides and
attractions at the Park the play areas
are always very popular giving excited youngsters
a great opportunity to let of steam and
parents a welcome rest!” said
Steve Lorton, Commercial Director. “Kids Kingdom is one of
three purpose-built play areas at Paultons
each designed for a specific age group ”.
As always safety is
the number one priority and Percy’s Playhouse has been surrounded
by a rubber safety floor surface that
is specially designed to cushion a fall.
Kids Kingdom is one of 50
attractions
at the Park included in the admission
price. Paultons Park is open daily
from 10am and is located within the New Forest
National Park, just off Junction 2 of the
M27.
