PR004 - 26th April 2004

Bank on family fun this weekend!

PJumping Bean 5aultons Park now has over 50 rides and attractions included in the admission price meaning that there is something for everyone to enjoy this bank holiday. New for 2004 is the Jumping Bean - a thrilling experience where riders are dropped vertically from a height of 12 metres and then bounced straight back up to do it all over again! The Jumping Jack joins the Jumping Bean as a smaller version of the ride allowing younger children to feel the excitement of free falling.

The new penguin pool, officially opened by Chris Packham at the beginning of the month, is proving to be extremely popular with all visitors from toddlers to grandparents. The pool is home to 18 Humboldt penguins which have arrived at the Park from zoos around the country. Daily keeper talks and feeding sessions give a fascinating insight into these entertaining birds.

The Wave Runner water coaster and Stinger rollercoaster are still great favourites with visitors whilst tiny tots always enjoy Seal Falls, the Digger Ride and letting off steam in Kids Kingdom.

Visitors to the Park can now demonstrate their artistic side in the recently opened Kiddie Kraft where, for a small additional charge, there is a chance to ‘paint your own’ pottery figures of favourite characters such as Nemo or Buzz Lightyear or create a beautiful ornament filled with coloured sands!

Paultons truly has something for everyone with two fascinating museums (The Romany Experience and the Village life museum), a delightful 10 acre lake, a hedge maze and even Dinosaurs all set in 140 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens.

Paultons Park is open every day from 10am and offers a range of ‘supersaver’ tickets for family groups. For more details call 023 8081 4455 or visit www.paultonspark.co.uk.
