Drop in on the New Rides at Paultons Park
Paultons Park opens this Saturday for
the 2004 season with three major new attractions!
“We have two thrilling new drop rides
for 2004, so you might say we are expecting
our visitors to drop…literally
by about 40 feet!” says Steve Lorton, Commercial Director.
He continues “The Park has had considerable investment in the
closed season including the creation
of a stunning new penguin pool in addition to the new rides giving
our visitors even more to see
and do whilst offering excellent value
for money whilst continuing to offer a full day of family entertainment ”.
The
Jumping Bean is a vertical drop ride
that plummets riders down from a height
of 12 metres and then bounces them back up again! Alongside
the Jumping Bean is its little brother,
Jumping Jack. This is a smaller drop
ride giving younger children, and less adventurous parents,
a chance to experience the excitement
of free falling.
Humboldt penguins are
the latest addition to Paultons extensive
bird collection and, as another Park first, daily feeding
sessions and keeper talks will give
a fascinating insight in to these humorous birds.
“
The new penguin pool looks spectacular
and has a specially sloped viewing
area ensuring that all visitors will have a good view of the pool” comments
Steve, “We
are expecting the penguins to be extremely
popular with all of our visitors particularly as the keeper talks
will be both entertaining
and educational ”.
Paultons Park now has over 50 rides
and attractions including firm favourites
such as the Stinger rollercoaster and
Wave Runner ‘water-coaster’ all of which are included
in the entrance price.
The Park will
be open daily from Saturday 13th
March until Sunday 31st October 2004.
