Education Officer’s Welcome Message

My name is Caroline Smith and I have been in the teaching profession for 29 years.  I appreciate that when teachers take students out of school/college on a visit they want the best possible educational experience and I also understand the value and positive impact visits can have on students.

In 2006 the DfES published its ‘Learning Outside the Classroom Manifesto'. It states:

“We believe that every young person should experience the world beyond the classroom as an essential part of their learning and personal development..”

At Paultons Park we are committed to supporting and enhancing the work done by teachers in the classroom. We are currently offering a range of activities for Foundation, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, Key Stage 4 and Post 16.  We are also able to provide ‘bespoke’ activities to meet individual school requirements.
